The evolution of plasma technology in recent years has been remarkable, enabling discharge under a variety of conditions — at room temperature, low temperature, below zero, and even in liquid — all at atmospheric pressure. This series of new technologies is called "atmospheric pressure cold plasma" in contrast to conventional high-temperature plasma.
